Our subtle plan to take over the car park (and then the world) took another promising leap forward this weekend thanks to discards from the Bevetron and the marvel that is craigslist. Nicole and I picked up two car loads of free dirt and filled up two "planters" (a.k.a. the large wooden crates from the Bevetron), and liberated a third, ready for use. The new planter is positioned further out into the car park area, subtly increasing the area of the garden. At present, we've only planted up one of the three; the others are awaiting fertilizer and some more plants to put in them.

In other plant news, a number of the chile pepper plants are flowering. The fish pepper is looking particularly cool with its variegated leaves.

The view from the garden at 9:00 this morning: taking over the entire visible world doesn't seem like such a difficult task, thanks to the fog!
